Cupcake 5k It's YOUR Victory!

The Cupcake 5k started in 2011 as an addition to a local fundraising event here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Because of the passion involved in the event the particpants have come back year after year, bringing family and friends to join in on the fight against cancer. With our numbers doubling each year and the continued support of all those touched in some way by this disease, we are confident we can grow this event to the point where it can provide sizable donations  not only to our current national charity but our local charities as well.

 

Those who have partipated in the Cupcake 5k, know that this is not just a 5k but so much more. It's a gathering of all walks of life with an unfortunate common bond.. but a bond we can come together on and support one another through, remembrance of friends and loved ones, those currently going through treatments and currently fighting thier battle and the celebration of those who have won and survived, taking victory over cancer!

 

The Cupcake 5k is an experience! It's a time to be inspired and to inspire. It's celebrating the victories in our lives big and small and not backing down from this disease we are all connected to in some way!
